Multi-Media Attachment [Model 5500] - #985500
The Multi-Media Attachment is used with the Taber Rotary Platform Abraser (sold separately) to conduct particle abrasivity testing on fluids, powders or pastes. The medium acts as an abradant between three rotating brass pins and a stainless steel wear disc. The weight loss of the pins provides a comparison of abrasion. Includes: spline assembly; 250g auxiliary weight discs (3 each); aluminum specimen dish; pin holder; brass pins (pkg. 60); stainless steel wear disc (pkg. 3); plastic spill tray; plastic insert dish (pkg. 3); plastic dish cover; disc removal tool; hex key wrench. *For Taber Rotary Platform Abrasers after s/n 844000.
